Apps for mathematical and geometrical learning

Hello everyone!  To start this blog, I felt that I had to do so by introducing to you one of the resources that children are more used to: apps. Nowadays, learners have a constant access to technological devices, from mobile phones and tablets to computers. They are one of the most famous resources of entertainment in every age, and they have many positive points in what refers to children’s development if used correctly in educational situations. To highlight the most important ones: we can mention:  They promote motivation and enjoyment: apps are something interactive, in which the actions and manipulation of the user decide the progression made. Because of that, using apps     geometrical learning could be done in a much more appealing way, not only in the visual aspect but also by providing the opportunity of discovering different views of two-dimensional and three-dimensional elements, that constitute the center of geometrical knowledge. Introducing myself

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I will start by introducing me, so that you know me a little bit. My name is Ana Elena Lozano Ruiz, I'm 21 years old and I'm studying the Double Degree of Primary Education + English Studies. My hobbies are listening to music, reading and watching TV series, and by doing them I really enjoy my free time in a very relaxing way. In relation to geometry, I must say that I have always enjoyed the subject of Maths, and I even did the Scientific Baccalaureate higly motived by the fact that I would have it as one of the subjects. Therefore, I have high expectations in this course, as I would like to learn how to propely present this area of knowledge to children so that they learn about mathematics in an understandable, enjoyable way, and develop skills necessary to understand the mathematical aspects of the world we live in.
